Is Gold Set to Shine Once More?
After a volatile year for gold, investors are asking whether prices have finally found a floor. Standard Chartered believes strong central-bank purchases, continued safe-haven demand, and a potentially weaker U.S. dollar could support gold, although elevated long-term bond yields may limit the speed of its recovery.
The bank expects gold to move gradually higher rather than experience another explosive rally, with a projected target of approximately $4,600 per ounce over the next 6–12 months.
